„Canaille” from Domaine du Clos Roussely is a wine that celebrates the joy of living. Produced by Vincent Roussely on his historic estate in Touraine, this wine is the result of biodynamic agriculture and minimal intervention in the cellar. It is a light red wine, made to be enjoyed with pleasure, without complications, capturing the energy of the limestone soils and the freshness of the climate along the Cher River.
Aroma and taste:
Visually, the wine has a bright, almost translucent ruby color. The bouquet is an explosion of fresh red fruits: cherries, raspberries, and currants, complemented by subtle notes of white pepper and violets. On the palate, it is supple and crisp, with almost imperceptible tannins and a refreshing acidity that makes every sip light and full of fruit.
Serving suggestions:
It is recommended to serve slightly chilled, at a temperature of 14-15°C, to highlight its fruity side. It is the ideal companion for a picnic, fine cold cuts (prosciutto, artisanal salami), or goat cheeses typical of the Loire region. It also pairs excellently with light chicken dishes or grilled vegetables.
