The first single-varietal wine from the rare Codrinschii grape produced in the Republic of Moldova, a true "letter from the past" rediscovered after 50 years. A historic wine, aged for 12 months in oak barrels, bringing back the authenticity and natural taste of indigenous viticulture.
Aroma and taste:
The wine presents with clear clarity and a medium intensity reddish-purple color. The aromatic bouquet is clean and complex, revealing notes of blueberry jam, overripe red fruits, vanilla, and rose petals. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and dry, offering flavors of ripe sour cherries, blackberries, and spicy accents of red pepper and green bell pepper, all culminating in a long and memorable finish.
Serving recommendations:
This is a gastronomic wine that perfectly accompanies beef dishes, grilled vegetables, or richly spiced foods. It pairs wonderfully with hard aged cheeses or even a Tabbouleh salad for an interesting contrast. To unleash its full potential, decanting for 60 minutes and serving at a temperature of +14…+16 ºC is recommended.
